As a mother and midwife for 30 years the biggest question I’m asked is settling baby back to sleep. The co-sleeper allows you to place your hand on your baby to sooth baby back to sleep without getting out of bed so Mum, Dad & baby sleep well.

I was already familiar with the co-sleeping concept through La Leche League and when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby I was sure that this was the solution I wanted. Its ideal for a small bedroom like ours and keeps baby safe and within Armsreach! I had seen an add on the internet (Rollercoaster.ie I think?) for Cots.ie so I knew where to go to buy the cosleeper and I am delighted with the product and the speedy delivery. My baby is now just 3 weeks old and she sleeps very well in the co-sleeper beside me.

Hi there,
We heard about you from an antenatal class. It is a fantasic product (Co-Sleeper)
which was brilliant when I was breastfeeding and now that my daughter Niamh is 14 months
we use it as a playpen. She's happy to sit and play in it (for a few minutes anyway!) which
is a godsend as we can grab a cuppa.

4 of my friends bought one after seeing it - pity its not in a store in cork as none of my friends

Co-Sleeper. Following the birth of our first child, and a lot of searching for the right cot, we decided to opt for the invaluable Co-Sleeper.
We find this product excellent because of the following:

The security of the sleeper reduced our newborn parental fears/anxieties.
The close proximity of the baby to us enabled us to hear & see her through out the night.
It also enhanced my breastfeeding experience as the baby was only an arms reach away & I feel it made the maternal bond even stronger.
Three months on and our daughter settles to sleep easily as she can see us at all times throughout the night. The multifunction of the Co-Sleeper made it invaluable when traveling. It is light, compact and easy for carrying. Its quick and easy assembly made it hassle free.
The storage pockets around the product kept the baby essentials at arms reach for us and at a safe storage position from the baby. The removal of the wheels and re- adjustment of the legs at an angle help reduce the risk of our baby developing reflux and minimized any nocturnal vomiting. I would highly recommend the co-sleeper product for newborn to six month old babies over any alternative sleeping product for infants.

We bought the Mini Co Sleeper for our 4th child and it proved to be excellent and looking back we wished we could of had one for our previous 3 children as it is a real gem. It was so easy to put up and attach to the bed and it was no problem to fit it into our small bedroom either.
When you bring home a newborn you are equally worried about them as if they were your first so the luxury of having him so close beside us was so reassuring. We could detach  the co sleeper from our bed during the day and our son could sleep in it very safely down stairs. This cold be done by raising back up the 4th side. It was also so good when we were travelling away,it folded down so neatly and thats important when you have more that one child in the car. All in all I would fully recommend this product and hopefully people can get as much out of it as we did.

There have been times when I believed that this is the secret to a baby sleeping throughout the night. Our 3rd baby has been in her Co-Sleeper® for nearly a year and has slept through the night almost from the get go. I attribute it to this wonderful product. Being within Arm's Reach® in the early stages she had easy access to me for nursing and was able to be placed back in the comfort of her own space quickly and without a lot of jostling. (great for c-sections!) Our first 2 children rarely made it through the night without lots of visits before ending up in our bed. The Co-Sleeper® takes a lot of the guesswork out of nighttime rituals and complications. I cannot recommend this product enough.

Why I think the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper® is "IT." We recently received our Co-Sleeper® and I wanted to write to you to tell you how excited we are to have it! Aside from the wonderful aspects of having our baby right besides us, there are several other things, which I wanted to thank you for... First of all, the Co-Sleeper® is very well constructed. There is no comparison to the other similar sleeping units/playards that we have seen on the market. Secondly, the portability is wonderful-we travel a great deal in our business, and are planning to bring the baby with us. It's nice to know that he/she will have a familiar place to sleep. And finally, when we're not traveling, we are city-dwellers with limited space. At this time we don't have the physical space for a crib (even if we wanted one) and a changing table-and the Co-Sleeper® fits perfectly in our compact sleeping area and served both purposes.

I just wanted to let you know how much we love our Co-Sleeper®. We have only had it for one night, but it made a world of difference. Our baby, Nicholas, has had colic, and it has been impossible to get him to sleep for more than about 15 minutes at a time. Additionally, he has difficulties breathing during the night. For these reasons for the last three months, my husband and I have had him sleeping in our bed. Understandably this has become uncomfortable and dangerous. We feared rolling over on him, as I am sure all new parents do. Last night I placed Nicholas on the Co-Sleeper® with it securely attached to my bed and he only woke up once during the night for a feeding. It seems he did not appreciate having his space cramped being between mommy and daddy either. Thanks again for this wonderful product!

My son Daniel was born very prematurely. The Co-Sleeper® was the best investment we ever made. The large pocket at the head holds an infant bag. The strap that goes under our mattress helped support his oxygen tank and there was enough room for his monitor to be inside the Co-Sleeper®. It was reassuring to me to have him so close at night. I feel that given my experience with this product I would recommend it to anyone. I feel that the features I've explained to you in this letter would be very useful to other parents of special infants. I hope that I have been of some help to you. I am a new mom of an eight-week-old son and it is such a relief in the middle of the night to just look over and be able to see that my precious baby is fine. Thanks to the Arm's Reach, I can see and hear my baby anytime without getting up. When he's hungry, I can easily breastfeed him and gently put him back to bed. The Arm's Reach is big enough for my baby to sleep in for months to come, unlike a regular bassinet. How can anyone do without it?

A mother of three boys says: This is a wonderful product. I only wish I would have bought it when I had my first baby. My third child is only 2 weeks old now, but this product has already been wonderful. I have my baby close to me, but don't have to worry about smothering him in my own bed. When my baby wakes in the night, I can pull him into bed with me to nurse him, and then put him back in his bed. I never actually have to get out of bed. Plus I love having him near me, and I know he is happier by being close to his Mommy.

I think the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper® is a great product, most importantly, it encourages family bonding. It also allows parents to quickly respond to a baby's cries because the baby is in such close proximity with the parents. Babies feel more secure in the close presence of their parents and the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper® is the means with which to enhance this feeling of security.

Parents worry about SIDS and being able to hear the baby and them being closer provides comfort. Also, there are a lot more single mothers out there now ... as a former single mother, I speak from experience when I say that sleeping with your child so close by when it is just the two of you is extremely comforting. Let's also keep in mind (in any parenting situation ... i.e. spouse or not) ... you are REALLY tired and to be perfectly honest ... a Co-Sleeper® beats the heck out of winding your way down the hallway to find a screaming infant!

"The decision to purchase the Mini Co-Sleeper® for my second child is among the best I have ever made! She is 4 months old now and has slept in it every night since coming home from the hospital. I am nursing, and love the "idea" of co-sleeping if not the reality of it. I just don't sleep well with my baby in the bed with me. With my firstborn, I was trudging down the hall two to three times each night for feedings, and then had to wait for him to fall asleep in his own bed before I could go back to my own bed. With my daughter right next to me in the co-sleeper, we both get a much better nights' sleep. She had reflux in the early weeks, and often would spit up and choke during the night - with her right next to me I slept much easier knowing that I could hear her if she needed me. I can hear her stirring and get up with her before she wakes up fully. I can nurse her (I usually choose to do this in a glider next to the bed, but one could easily pull the baby close and nurse lying down) and then put her right back to bed. My husband, sleeping beside me, is usually not even aware that we've gotten up. More often than not, both baby and I are back to sleep instantly. If she does take a while to fall back to sleep, I can snooze there right next to her with no problems. I am getting a LOT more sleep at this point than I was with my son because I'm not sitting outside his bedroom door waiting to be sure he's fallen asleep!
"The Co-Sleeper® is well designed and made of high quality materials. It now comes in a variety of beautiful fabrics and colors. The Mini has been the perfect size for us. We have traveled with it as well and it was very convenient to be able to bring the very bed that our daughter was used to along with us. It can be used as a freestanding bassinet as well as attached to a bed. "Many of the reviews of the Original Co-Sleeper® mention the 4-inch "drop" - meaning that the bed the baby lies on is 4 inches lower than the level of your bed. This is part of the design and makes it so that the baby won't roll onto your bed. I have never found this to be a drawback; you do sort of need to sit up in order to return the baby to her bed from your bed, but it's far easier than having to trudge down the hallway to do it!
"Now that my daughter is 4 months, she is beginning to outgrow the Mini as she moves around more in her sleep. We are preparing to transition her to her own bedroom now.
